Health Equity Research with Outcomes (HERO)

Health equity is about everyone having a fair opportunity to achieve their full health potential.

Differences in location, ethnicity, employment, education or income can impact on health behaviours, environmental exposures and health care access, resulting in health inequity.

HERO uses statistics and epidemiology to identify, understand and address health inequity.

HERO is a group of talented researchers led by A/Prof Susanna Cramb within the Australian Centre for Health Services Innovation (AusHSI) at Queensland University of Technology, comprising her past and current PhD students.
